update realtek driver for D945GCLF MB
มีโอกาสได้เอาเมนบอร์ด D945GCLF มาเล่น หลังจากที่ลง xubuntu 8.10 ไปแล้วก็ใช้งานได้ปกติ แต่ปัญหามันมีอยู่ว่าพอไปคลิกที่ update ที่มันแจ้งเตือนแล้วทำให้ network มันใช้งานไม่ได้ หลังจากค้นหาใน google อยู่นานพอจะสรุปได้ว่า driver มีปัญหาเนื่องจาก D945GCLF ใช้ r8102 แต่มันไป detect เป็น r8169 จึงต้องทำการติดตั้ง driver ที่ถูกต้องให้มัน
1. ให้ Download driver r8101 จาก
หรือ
2. extract ไฟล์ที่ได้มา tar -xvf r8101-1.011.00.tar.bz2 แล้วเข้าไปยัง directory ที่ extract ได้
3. make clean modules ;sudo make install ; sudo depmod -a
4. sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-network
5. เพิ่มบรรทัดนี้ blacklist r8169
6. sudo update-initramfs -u
7. reboot
